The First Xbox Game Pass Titles of 2026 Reveal Xbox Isn't Giving Up Yet.

Everywhere you go, enthusiasts continue to ring the knell for the Xbox brand. The platform was lately surpassed in sales by a relatively obscure console. Platform-specific outlets have started writing regarding Sony's platform for the first time. Last year proved to be an era of significant turmoil for Xbox and Microsoft. Yet, based exclusively on the titles headed to the service in 2026, it's evident that the green gaming company still intends to draw people in with compelling titles on its flagship service.

The Current Inclusions

The duo of games currently accessible at this moment, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, don't represent the biggest draws. Instead, the excitement lies in what's arriving to Game Pass in the coming weeks that's truly noteworthy.

Upcoming Headline Games

Come mid-January, the platform will add the underappreciated Star Wars Outlaws, a vast exploration title that breaks up typical Ubisoft design with a space-faring criminal escapade. An additional significant inclusion is Resident Evil Village and its giant Lady Dimitrescu, previously described as "the perfect cocktail of terror and combat."

Compelling Indie Titles

However, the more modest titles coming to Game Pass soon are noteworthy here. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, a fantastic but under-the-radar dungeon crawler that's a blast to play, arrives January 7th — and you should try it regardless of whether you played the first Lost in Random game.

The game set in a ruined Britain from last year may draw you in in about 15 minutes flat.

Atomfall, a game blending infiltration and resource management by Rebellion Developments, is also a game to check out. Ultimate tier members also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to look forward to.

A Robust Selection of Games

Ultimately, these aren't the most groundbreaking additions to Game Pass, nor are they massive exclusive blockbusters that are the sole reason for the service in the first place. But Microsoft's additions here are rock solid. There's a good mixture of old games you might have missed and relatively recent releases that failed to receive the spotlight they warranted upon launch — rendering them ideal prospects to get a second chance on Game Pass.

You might need to brace yourself to part ways with The Grinch Christmas Adventures, as it happens.
